Founded a virally successful nonprofit organization named The Stigma Project. Which was created with a key focus on branding and social media marketing. The mission was essentially to reduce the stigma associated with HIV & AIDS through awareness and education. Using newer platforms, like social media, to reach the audiences doing the most harm perpetuating the stigma and stereotypes of those living with the disease. As cofounder and creative director, I was responsible for conceptualizing and creating ad campaigns, ads, and all related materials; as well as ensuring all branding was consistently cohesive. The ups and downs of launching a nonprofit organization was a wonderful journey, and launching one that actually helps people is life-changing. I grew so much as a person and a designer because of it. Some memorable milestones include speaking on a panel at the White House; being the keynote speakers at the US Conference on AIDS; and being awarded the Key to the City of West Hollywood. The Stigma Project is and will remain by proudest accomplishment.
